About the Amethyst Dance Company
The Amethyst Dance Company was founded in 2010. Our mandate is to learn and perform the highest quality Bellydance techniques, and choreographies. The prinicple dancers of the Amethyst Dance Company are perpetual students of the dance, always seeking out new instructors, workshops and experiences that can improve their dance.
The Amethyst Dance Company is available to perform at family, mixed-company or female-only events (no male-only events please).They have performed for audiences of all-ages at all manner of venues.
The Amethyst Dance Company have donated their performances at charity and fundraising events for the London Regional Children's Museum and the Candian Cancer Society. If you think a bellydancer would be a good fit for your charity or fundraising event, contact Amira with more details.

About Amira 
Artistic Director, Performer, Choreographer.
Amira is a talented performer, contentious teacher and a serious student of the art of Bellydance. Amira continually seeks out instructors and performers to train with who can take her dance and teaching to a higher higher level.
Amira has been dancing since 2004, starting with classes from the teachers in the London Area (Tamara, Athena, Sa'dia), then travelling around Ontario, Michigan and Ohio attending workshops with renowned dancers from around the world. Notable dancers that Amira has studied with include: Egyptian Bellydance Superstars Dina, Tito, and Adia Nour; Yasmina Ramzy (Artistic Director of the Arabesque Dance Company); Aziza of Montreal/Portland; Hadia (Internationally renowned dancer and choreographer); and Jillina of the Bellydance Superstars.
About Dilshad
Lead Dancer, Choreographer.
Dilshad first became a student of Amira's in the fall of 2009, and Amira immediately started taking her out to perform.
Prior to finding Amira, Dilshad had studied Bellydancing in her native Columbia for three years.
Dilshad is a wonderful, warm performer, who shares her love of dancing and her exuberance with her audience.She has an infectious smile and a joyous presence that touches the heart of everyone she shares her dancing with.
